Hape Christmas Campaign 2024 - Is it just a toy?
Hape's 2024 campaign was centralised around the idea that toys go beyond play, that they are the building blocks to their future successes. Throughout this campaign, I worked alongside Hape's Brand Manager to write the transcript and finalise the campaign message.
As a part of my role, it was standard for me to write and create the necessary content for the following elements:
- Work with the Social Media Manager and write the meta captions and graphics text
- Create Mailchimp B2C Promotional newsletters throughout November and December
- Update the homepage content for Hape's B2C European web shop
I also supported the Digital Media Manager by creating the concept and strategy for this campaign's paid Google and Meta ads.
Ambosstoys - Rebrand
Ambosstoys was a small, family-owned business that was bought by Toynamics. During this time, it underwent a rebrand and I led the copywriting projects. Primarily I was involved in refreshing and creating new web content and supporting a Junior Copywriter as they wrote product listings.

Korko
Korko is a brand all about sustainability and carbon neutral cork. I was involved in numerous projects but primarily for social media captions, product names, packaging and product listings. The most exciting project was a mini story book called Coco's Adventure.
Based on Korko's mascot, Coco the owl, the story follows her through the forest to discover how cork is harvested. The idea for the story was to make Korko's toy-making process accessible to both parents and children.

Hape - Social Media
I worked alongside Hape's Social Media Manager to reconstruct a more aligned strategy across Hape Europe. This meant creating titles for Highlights that could be easily translated and used across the UK, France, Spain, Germany and Italy.
Every month, we would also define posts for Meta platforms (static, carousels and reels), their captions and stories.


Käthe Kruse - Rebrand
German brand Käthe Kruse is an iconic staple from the toy industry. With its 100 year heritage Käthe Kruse's rebrand proved challenging as we wanted to showcase a new era of the Käthe Kruse doll whilst ensuring we stuck to the core values surrounding its traditional craftsmanship.
This project required me to work closely with the designers and Brand Manager to create an impactful brand guide that brought this brand into the 21st Century with style. Following this, I worked closely with a local German Copywriter to finalise the copy styles for product names, listings and their packaging.

Senger - Digital Email Marketing
I worked alongside Senger's Brand Manager and our UX Designers to launch a sweet collection of newsletters for Senger's audience. We had to ensure Senger's branding remained true to its vintage look and feel while conveying to a modern audience.

Hape Christmas Campaign 2023 - Moments that Matter
The 2023 Hape campaign was titled Moments that Matter. We wanted to highlight a screen-free Christmas that was all about using toys and play to create memories that last a lifetime. I worked alongside Hape's Brand Manager and our other junior copywriter to finalise the campaign message.
